Not for everyone

Keel does one thing. You set how many times a week you masturbate, and Keel shows you whether you’re holding it.

For some people that is the wrong tool. Here is who.

If your use is compulsive

The World Health Organization recognises Compulsive Sexual Behaviour Disorder as a real condition with diagnostic criteria. We think most men who want to cut down do not have it. Most is not all.

Some signs it may be you: you have tried seriously to cut down and could not; it has continued after costing you work, money, health, or a relationship; you keep doing it after it stopped giving you anything.

If that is your situation, setting a number will not fix it, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. You need a clinician, not an app.

If you want to stop completely

Keel has no abstinence mode and will not be adding one. There is no counter here and nothing to reach zero on. If your goal is stopping entirely, the quitting programmes are built for that and this is not.
